The work we do is based on a unique relationship which we create together. This relationship is key in facilitating the safety and the support to explore, speak, and feel in new and profound ways. Understanding, ease and a connection to self come as you feel your feelings and sense your own truth
I practice Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP),a cutting edge approach that puts into practice relevant research from Interpersonal Neuroscience, attachment theory, emotion theory, affective neuroscience, somatic approaches, and transformational studies. I also draw on Inner Relationship Focusing, Mindfulness practice and Attachment-Focused EMDR.
This integrative approach works powerfully to heal interpersonal and experiential trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief. More, it supports healthy development and individuation - strengthening your sense of self, your capacity to communicate effectively, and your willingness to live a life of meaning and heart.
My thorough and on-going training and supervision, my own journey and the transformational work of my clients fuel my confidence in the process we undertake together.
What I got from our work was the ability to trust myself again. To stop fighting myself all the time. To trust that I could figure things out. That I do have inner knowing. That seems so obvious to me now, but when I started I couldn’t slow down because everything just seemed overwhelming and dark.

"I am forever grateful for the work I did with Clare. We worked together for about 4 years and she was by far the best therapist I've ever had. The connection and trust we developed was a big part of what made it so special. She encouraged me in a perfect way to explore many aspects of myself and my past, but on my own timeline. I think of her often, especially when I am able to peacefully acknowledge my inner critic. I imagine someone else who has taken my place in her tranquil office and is sharing that experience."
